yeah, i'm grasping at straws at this point.
but there is a point
for work today we took our program on a ride to acadia national park to picnic.
the name of the picnic area is the Fabbri picnic area.
evidently there was a guy during world war one who manned a naval something or other on mount desert island and the town of otter creek erected a memorial to him because of the awesome importance of his work there from 1917-1919. when the land was donated to the feds for the park they were told they needed to honor this memorial.
it is a pretty little spot
it was a nice afternoon out & we are lucky to have this park nearby.
