it's hard to start another blog after having one somewhere else for so long.
 
for eight years i've been lifeonthewink on xanga. a blog about my life.  now my life is just too...too...what is the word i'm looking for?  too varied, full, overflowing?

i care about so much. i'm interested in so much.  i do so many different things, and i want to do so many more.

so....i thought i should split my life up into different blogs.

xanga will stay for some things...mostly the friends i've made there--i'm hooked.  xanga itself just doesn't make me happy anymore.

i also have a blog for my garden/outdoor activities/adventures.  that one is www.amaineadventure.wordpress.com

i want to be surrounded by beauty on the internet just as i am surrounded by beauty in my life.

happy first day of spring!  it is a sunny day here in downeast maine, but the snow is deep this morning.  we received about 12-14 inches or so last night.

i've been blogging for about 8 years over on xanga and i've decided to keep that one, but to start fresh with a blog that deals with my life as a homemaker, grandma (i'm called bubby), and crafter. so here i am!

i look forward to spending some time finding like-minded people here and being inspired!
